Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) is revolutionizing access to space by developing a family of
launch vehicles and spacecraft intended to increase the reliability and
reduce the cost of both manned and unmanned space transportation,
ultimately by a factor of ten. Products include the Falcon 1 launch vehicle, Falcon 9 launch vehicle, Merlin engine, and Dragon spacecraft.
SpaceX has agreed to be a sponsor for the 4th IREC. They were the sponsor for the Awards Banquet at the 3rd IREC. They are also a sponsor of ESRA's rocket demonstration trailer used for K-12 educational outreach.

Strategic Space Development provides comprehensive business development
consulting, strategic planning, knowledge management, and competitive
intelligence services to aerospace and high tech industries. They also offer business development, capture management and elemental
technical trainings that will enhance your business development activities, increase
revenue and expand your business capture.
Strategic Space Development will be a sponsor for the 4th IREC.

G-Wiz Partners produces a line of flight electronics for hobby and educational rocketry, as well as the software to make best use of them. Their primary focus to date has been on computers to control events during flight Their computers are based in inertial sensors, and therefore do not suffer any issues with Mach transition. Products include the LCX, HCX, Software, Firmware, and Accessories.
G-Wiz is a sponsor for the Furfaro Award for Technical Excellence at the 4th IREC.

Planetary Systems Corporation (PSC) provides lightweight, cost-effective, and test verified separation systems for the aerospace industry. Products include the Motorized Lightband, Latching Lightband, and Standard Lightband.
PSC will be providing solar-powered laptop recharging/power stations for the teams to use (avoiding the need for additional generators) at the 4th IREC. PSC was also a sponsor for launch site operations at the 3rd IREC.

Space Dynamics Laboratory of Utah State University (SDL/USU) a Unit of the USU Research Foundation, is a nonprofit research corporation
owned by Utah State University. Charged with applying basic research to the
technology challenges presented in the military and science arenas, SDL has
developed revolutionary solutions that are changing the way the world collects
and uses data. SDL continues to lead the way in the development of sensors and
supporting technologies.
SDL/USU provided startup funding for the first two IRECs and the first Experimental Sounding Rocket Workshop. SDL/USU also provided surplus materials used in the construction of ESRA's 25/45-foot trailer-mounted launch rail.

Rocky Mountain NASA Space Grant Consortium (RMNSGC) recruits, mentors, and fellowships outstanding students into space-related educational career paths.
RMNSGC sponsors ESRA's K-12 outreach activities and Experimental Sounding Rocket Workshops. It also provided early administrative support including initial web site hosting and development.
